Green Smoothie for Two
Add each of these ingredients to Vitamix or other high-powered blender:
1/2 cup filtered water
1/2 cup coconut water
1 handful clean spinach
1/2 head romaine or ice berg, or other mild crispy fresh green
1 green apple, washed, cored, roughly chopped
1 frozen banana
1 heaping TBSP cilantro
1 heaping TBSP parsley
Juice of 1 lemon
A pinch each: cinnamon, cayenne, turmeric
2-3 Brazil nuts
4 ice cubes (not necessary, but adds a welcome chill if drinking immediately)
Blend until fully incorporated. If not consuming all at once, put in mason jar so that there is the least amount of air possible in jar, cover with tight fitting lid and put in refrigerator.
